This episode speaks towards the idea of going from being charmful, to harmful. We take a look at the actions of an NFL head coach, and contrast it with that of a stand up comedian. And no matter how kind and well-loved or stand-up (pun intended) that these people may be, there is always room to see your faults, grow as a person, and hopefully educate others on how your words can harm those who are vulnerable to hateful actions and rhetoric.
Every episode will speak towards our society from the food, culture, and branding aspects of things. You’re gonna hear some shit with which you may or may not agree. However, the perspective that is provided is open and honest. Frankly, it’s gonna make some people a little mad. It’s not done in a way to be assholes, but in a way to make you think of us as being jerks. After all, “Jeremy” and “Kirk”, does equal “Jirk”.
And with that, welcome to Jirk’s Podcast.
