Episode One – A New Hope, & Pigs
Jirk’s Podcast is the collective thought processes of two of the consumer packaged industry leaders, Jeremy Smith and Kirk Visola.
And, to kick off this podcast, we’ve decided to speak about New Hope’s EXPO EAST 2021. The exploration of detriment, versus benefit, of holding this large scale event during the pandemic. We also tackle a little pop culture with the recent Nic Cage movie, PIG.
We will mainly tackle the consumer packaged goods industry from the food, culture, and branding aspects of things. And, you’re gonna hear some shit with which you may or may not agree. However, the perspective that is provided is open and honest. Frankly, it’s gonna make some people a little mad. It’s not done in a way to be assholes, but in a way to make you think of us as being jerks. After all, “Jeremy” and “Kirk”, does equal “Jirk”.
And with that, welcome to Jirk’s Podcast. Listen here.
